This day-long, statewide retreat for Home Visiting Supervisors, as part of the Arizona Department of Health’s Home Visiting Supervisor’s Institute, will place the emphasis on supporting supervisors and leaders of Home Visitation programs statewide to grow their own capacity for well-being, resilience building and connection, so that they can better support their teams of front line Home Visitors. As the teams are supported, the families they serve are more supported, and this results in a happier, healthier, more resilient workforce and families of young children.
This retreat will share the neuroscience behind self-care and resilience-building, while also providing space to explore what gets in the way of care teams supporting their own well-being. This powerful workshop will help participants develop their own plans of action, as well as a plan for their teams, to support a stronger, more resilience workforce that can serve families at the highest levels.
