This self-care workshop is to support the members of Arizona’s statewide committee that conducts the monthly review of Arizona’s maternal mortality data. This workshop is to help them remember and practice their self-care as they do the challenging task - and often emotional labor - of reviewing this data. Alongside the data review, it’s important to remember that the numbers represent the stories of those lost, and those left behind - and that the remembering of these stories leaves an impact on those doing the work.
